Every step forward depends on a community willing to act.

Not even 35 years old, Jo's lung function is severely impaired. She relies on supplemental oxygen while sleeping and while active. As a mom of two young children, that means she wears oxygen almost every day.
There are moments when her oxygen tank swings forward as she tries to pick up her children. Moments when she wants to run and play but cannot keep up. Moments when she worries that LAM is stealing experiences she can never get back.
Jo doesn't want to be just a version of a mom. She wants to be their mom. We cannot leave Jo behind. Her children need her.
How will you support a breakthrough for Jo and each woman with LAM? A breakthrough for this generation?
Research takes investment. Patient support programs take resources. Women facing a rare disease need support, trusted experts, education, and connection. Every step forward depends on a community willing to act.

The Day of Giving is The LAM Foundation's largest fundraiser of the year, with 100% of the proceeds directed toward the people, programs and progress that will lead to a cure.
An anonymous donor has issued a special challenge to our LAM community. If we raise $300,000 to support the people, programs and progress toward a cure, this generous donor will contribute an additional $50,000. Together, we can raise $350,000 to accelerate progress, support families, and bring us closer to the day when no woman has to hear the words, “You have LAM.”"
